Plades was born from a partnership between IFPB, UFPB, Codata, and the state government of Paraíba, Brazil. It’s a search and indexing tool for researchers, local productive arrangements, public policies, and other public data that helps identify conditions for entrepreneurship across the state.
The solution
The architecture evolved from my previous project (SABER IFPB), combining Django with JavaScript and Elasticsearch on the backend. It supports searching hundreds of thousands of entries in under one second.
